Request a refund for a Google purchase

Submit a refund request to Google.

  1. Go to play.google.com.

  2. At the top right, click your Profile picture.

  3. Click Payments & subscriptions and then Budget & order history.

  4. For the order you want to return, click Report a problem.

  5. Select the option that describes your situation.

  6. Complete the form and note that you'd like a refund.

  7. Click Submit.

Tips:

  • If you don't find the order, you may have bought it on a different Google Account. Find out how to switch accounts.
  • You’ll usually get a decision within one day but it can take up to four days.
