Connecting Google Ads and Apple Search Ads

Updated July 12, 2026

Ad accounts are currently connected with our team — there's no self-serve connect flow yet. Message us in your PilotPM support channel (or email support@pilotpm.ai) and we'll set it up with you, usually same-day.

What we'll ask for

Google Ads

  • Your Google Ads customer ID (the 10-digit number, like 123-456-7890).
  • Read access granted to PilotPM's manager account — we'll send the link request; you accept it in your Google Ads account under Admin → Access and security.

Apple Search Ads

  • Your Apple Search Ads organization, and which apps to include. Each app becomes its own connection, so a portfolio of apps gets per-app cards and per-app reporting.

Choosing your source of truth

Verified conversions need something to verify against. During setup you pick one per account:

  • Support inbox — real leads arriving in your PilotPM inbox (for example, demo requests). Best for B2B.
  • Data warehouse — a read-only count query against your own warehouse, for teams whose signups land there.
  • Product events — trial starts or signups sent from your app to PilotPM. Best for mobile apps and product-led signups.

You can change the source later — it only affects how conversions are verified, never your ad account.

Read-only by default

Every new connection starts read-only: you get nightly reads, verification and recommendation cards, but nothing can be applied to the account until apply-mode is switched on for that specific account. Apple Search Ads connections are always read-only today — their cards are advice you apply in the ASA console yourself.
