Email setup: DKIM, SPF, and forwarding aliases

Updated May 29, 2026

For replies to land in inboxes (not spam), authenticate your sending domain.

DKIM & SPF

PilotPM sends through an authenticated mail provider. To send as your own domain:

  • Add the DKIM records PilotPM provides for your domain to your DNS.
  • Ensure your SPF record authorizes the sending provider.

Once DNS propagates and verification passes, outbound replies are signed as your domain.

Forwarding aliases

Inbound email reaches PilotPM by forwarding your support address to your workspace's @inbox.pilotpm.ai address. You can route different addresses to different inboxes — for example, support mail to your support inbox and cold-outbound replies to a separate "Outbound Replies" inbox.

Verifying

Send yourself a test message and confirm it both arrives as a conversation and that your reply is delivered and authenticated.
