Invite your team: roles, admins, and lenses

Invite teammates from Settings → Team & access. PilotPM uses a simple role model plus "lenses" that tailor what each person sees.

Roles

  • Owner — full control of the workspace, billing, and all settings. There is always at least one Owner.
  • Admin — manages a functional area (a "bundle" such as Customer Support, Product, or Sales) and its settings.
  • Member — works day-to-day inside a single lens (their inbox, their tickets) without access to workspace-wide settings.

Lenses

A lens scopes the product to one job: Customer Support, Customer Success, Product/Roadmap, or Sales. Members see one lens; Admins and Owners can switch between the lenses they manage. This keeps each person's Today view and navigation focused on their work.

Tips

  • Promote a teammate to Admin when they need to manage settings for their area.
  • Removing a teammate automatically unassigns their open conversations back to the pool.
